On the behalf of the Lakeland Xpress, a youth basketball organization, I humbly request your assistance with our mission.
Mission Statement
Lakeland Xpress basketball is a Christian youth mentoring program that uses basketball as a vehicle of instruction and influence. It is our mission to provide a positive, constructive atmosphere for young boys while engaging in organized athletic competition.
The teams of Lakeland Xpress are made up of young boys and girls ranging in age from eight to eighteen, representing grade levels 3rd through 12th. For the past two years, due to generous contributions, the boys and girls had the opportunity to train for and participate in several tournaments hosted by Florida YBOA, USSSA, and AAU athletic associations. Since our program is comparatively new, we rely heavily on corporate sponsorships and individual donations. We would be grateful if you would partner with us and contribute financially to our endeavor. As an organization, we would like to attend six to eight tournaments throughout central Florida and two to four tournaments nationally. The cost for each team to compete is estimated at $300 per tournament. We believe, with your help, we can achieve our mission and positively impact the lives of the boys and girls involved.
